Kim Duffy, a registered dietitian and personal trainer, has carefully created the content to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to achieve your personal wellness goals. Throughout this program, you will go on a journey towards optimal health and well-being. These changes may include irritability, weight gain, poor sleep quality, poor energy levels, decreased sex drive, etc. It is specifically designed for those women over age 40 who are noticing mental and physical changes in their bodies even when they have changed nothing in how they eat, exercise or move through their daily routines. This comprehensive 6-pillar (FA40) system covers many aspects of health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise, hormone balance, weight management, mindset, and blood sugar regulation. They don’t tell you what to do – they use your goals to create a customized action plan and help you discover techniques that work for you.The Fit After 40 Academy is an amazing 12-week program designed specifically for women over the age of 40. Our coaches are health educators with expertise in preventive health care and behavior-change counseling. Weight Management Classes: Taught by Registered Dietitians.For one-on-one support, you can choose to work with a wellness coach on the phone to set goals for healthy, lasting change. If you thrive in a group along with others working on similar goals we offer Kaiser Permanente members a variety of workshops online to support you. Learn to take charge class: Featuring two virtual 60 minute sessions.Prediabetes class: This one-hour webinar discusses prediabetes and lifestyle.Upon completion monthly support groups are recommended to continue with the progress. Each class series meets weekly (virtually) for 16 weeks consecutive weeks. Healthy connections class: This is a CDC (Center for Disease Control) accredited program for diabetes prevention and weight loss.Make a difference to your health and find out about resources that can help you. This one hour live virtual class is lead by a registered dietitian. Mediterranean diet class: The Mediterranean diet has been shown to help manage cardiovascular risk and inflammation that occurs with many conditions.Participation requires weekly reporting of weight and physical activity. ![]() The program is very structured and requires attendance of all four sessions. Nutrition boot camp: This 4-week class provides guidance, meal plans, and support to jump start your weight loss and exercise.Weight loss – What works webinar: This one-time, one-hour live webinar discusses the essentials to weight management.
