![]() That said, the sleeves are a decent thickness and do work (at least the ones that actually fit the cards). They also very clearly have no interest in fixing the actual problem. Mayday is good about being willing to send you replacements if you complain, but what they send is just more of the same. These issues are experienced usually between packs and orders, particularly over time, but I've had 25% of the sleeves in the same packs be unusual. Many of the sleeves are cut long/short/tall/wide or in some cases as a trapezoid the prevents cards sliding all the way in or else at an angle/unsquare across the top. Mayday in particular have a long history of very low tolerances for quality/high tolerance for variation in their sleeves. I also put KMC Perfect Size/Fit here though they are actually inner sleeves (see below). Particularly Mayday and GameGenic (though LaTCG and Ultra Pro bulk MTG might be argued into this tier). You can play games with these sleeves, but it's really a frustrating and unpleasant experience, though some folks don't mind as much. It also usually makes the cards harder, not easier to shuffle. The soft nature of the sleeves and low QC leading to a poor fit causes cards to slip and slide around and quite often out of the sleeve. This includes the likes of Mayday's Almost-a-Penny and Standard sleeve lines, LaTCG, Ultimate Guard's Premium line, Ultra Pro bulk MTG, and any other soft sleeve (< 50 microns).
